My name is Sean Loughran and I am a consultant Otolaryngologist (ENT) surgeon working at the Manchester Royal Infirmary and Hope Hospital in Salford.
As well as being a general otolaryngologist I have an interest in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with head and neck cancer, including patients with thyroid disorders.
Any patients who are concerned about any symptoms they may read about in the following pages should attend their family doctor who will be able to refer them to a specialist if appropriate.
I am available for private consultations at the Alexandra Hospital Cheadle as well as the BUPA hospital Whalley range. Appointments can be arranged through my private secretary, or by calling the hospitals direct, however, usually a GP referral letter is required.
